Why I Write Stories That Stay With You

I’ve always been drawn to the quiet stories, the kind that don’t scream for your attention but stay with you long after the final page. Stories about identity, family, change, and those moments when we begin to see ourselves more clearly.

For years, I wrote quietly, privately; essays, reflections, children’s adventures, adult fiction, I knew one day these stories needed a home. That’s how the idea and desire for Pebble Trail Tales began.

Through books like Simi’s Road Trip, I explore the layered beauty of Nigerian culture, the power of folklore, and bring it to share with the world.

Through my reflective writing, I connect with adults who are navigating their own detours, griefs, and rediscoveries.

This blog will hold bits of all of it: behind-the-scenes writing updates, childhood nostalgia, adult fiction, reflections on life and growth, and sometimes just the kind of thoughts that visit you when you're half-asleep.

Thank you for being here.

Let’s journey together, word by word.
