Most will mark; few will paint.

Let me share something I saw recently...
An artist left his painting in the town square with a note, “If you spot a mistake, leave a mark.”
Next day, the canvas was covered in marks. Ruined.
He went home, upset, he had thought it a beautiful piece. His dad listened and advised, “Try again. This time, leave the tools and make a new note.”
So he made a fresh painting, set it out with brushes and paint, and added the note, “If you spot a mistake, fix it.”
Next day? The painting was untouched. Not a single brush moved.
He reported his finding to his dad, confused.
“That’s the lesson,” his father replied. “Pointing is easy. Fixing takes effort.”
At work, online, at home, when you see something wrong, do you pick up a brush?
Are you a marker or a maker?
As always, thanks for reading.
Let's journey together word by word.
